The cold frame we had years ago deteriorated to the point it could no longer be used so I’d been searching for something to replace it for quite some time. We found this one from Stark Brothers and had a chance to assemble it this weekend and we love it. It will comfortably hold 3 growing trays which should be enough to harden off the spring garden plants as they transition from the grow lights in the house to their summer home in the garden. There is the chance that we could need a second cold frame but we are going to wait and see how it goes before investing. Getting so excited to get some things growing under the lights inside but with trips to California this week and to Texas at the end of the month, I have decided to simplify things and just wait till we get back to sow most of the seeds.
